Michele Consalvo Memorial Golf Tournament Answers Amber's Dream!

Sunshine Foundation thanks everyone who participated in the
7th Annual Michele Consalvo Memorial Golf Tournament in October. This special tournament sponsors a child’s dream every year. This year the tournament benefited 8 year old Amber. Amber and her family were sent on a dream come true trip to visit the Orlando attractions. We also wish to thank the friends and family of Michele Consalvo who hold this wonderful event in Michele’s memory every year. Dreams come true because of you!

Amber is seen here with her family at Sunshine Foundation’s
Dream Village in Central Florida!

This special event was
organized by friends and family of Michele D. Consalvo,
pictured above, to honor her memory by answering a child’s dream!

Adopt A Progeria Child!        WE NEED YOUR SPONSORSHIP!

We are still looking for generous individuals and companies to
sponsor nine Progeria children. Each child’s experience at the
Progeria Reunion costs $6,000.00 and this covers travel expenses, lodging, meals, theme park tickets, entertainment and expense money for both the child with Progeria and a parent!

Another child with Progeria has just been sponsored and will be attending the Reunion. Thank you D’Arcangelo Family for reaching out to help a special child in need!

Sunshine Foundation Remembers...

On February 25, 2009,
Sunshine Foundation lost a dear friend. Eddie lost his battle with heart disease. Eddie’s heart though weak was strong in his love for Sunshine’s special children. For many years Eddie wrote letters and spoke with others in his community about Sunshine’s mission, which resulted in the adoption of the dreams of many Sunshine Foundation children. Eddie is survived by his wife bonnie and daughter Julie who were always there to help him with his work for Sunshine Foundation. He was a wonderful, kind and caring man and he will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know and love him.
